1″ Insert x 3/4″ MPT Adapter

Description

1″ Insert x 3/4″ MPT Adapter is used to couple a 1″ rigid hose to a 3/4″ FPT (female pipe thread) fitting.  Along with coupling the hose with a threaded fitting, it also reduces or increases in size between a 1″ O.D. (outside diameter) opening to a 3/4″ O.D. (outside diameter).  A 1″ clamp is recommended at the hose side to prevent the insert from pulling apart from the hose due to pressure.

The diagram below demonstrates the Insert x MPT Adapter (1″ x 3/4″) being used in our Gator 2000 Drip Irrigation Kit.  In this case, the 1″ x 3/4″ Adapter is threaded into the 3/4″ Pressure Regulator on one end and inserted into the 1″ poly tubing at the other end.
