Perma-Loc x 250 Barb / Valve for 5/8″ ID Tubing, aka In-Line Barbed Valve for 5/8″ ID tubing, is used to control water flow. A valve can be easily installed into the rigid poly mainline to control the water flow of an individual row. This barbed valve is the 250 Series. A punch tool is required for installation. Consists of commercial grade, UV resistant plastic.

Perma-Loc x 250 Barb / ValvePerma-Loc x 250 Barb / Valve for 5/8″ ID Tubing is used to control water flow of an individual line. The valve connects the 5/8″ drip tubing to the mainline via a 250 Series Barb. Consists of commercial grade, UV resistant plastic. Requires a Punch Tool for installation.
To install a Perma-Loc x 250 Barb / Valve for 5/8″ ID Tubing, simply turn sleeve counter-clockwise, slip tubing over perma-loc end, and turn sleeve clockwise to hand tighten for a secure fit on one end. Punch a hole in the desired location of the poly mainline using a 1/4″ Barb Punch Tool. Insert the barbed side of the valve into the poly mainline.

Do you find that some of your plantings require more water than others? This valve can assist you with getting the right amount of water to each row. Simply insert the barb into your mainline and attach the drip tubing to the other end. You’re now able to control the flow to this new row. We also offer a Perma-Loc In-line Valve if your mainline is 5/8″ ID tape or 5/8″ ID distribution tubing rather than rigid poly tubing.
