1/2″ Insert x 3/4″ MPT (Male Pipe Thread) Adapter is used to couple a 1/2″ hose to a 3/4″ FPT (female pipe thread) fitting. Along with coupling the hose with a threaded fitting, it also reduces or increases in size between a 1/2″ opening and a 3/4″ opening.

Below is an example how we’ve used the Insert x MPT Adapter (1/2″ x 3/4″) in our Landscape Kit. This adapter is threaded onto a 3/4″ coupling on one end while ready for 1/2″ Supply Tubing to be installed on the insert end. No clamp is needed on a low pressure system. No glue or special tools required.
