Description
A Gator 1000 Drip Irrigation Kit contains all the necessary components to water up to ten 100’ long rows spaced up to five feet apart or a flower bed of up to 2,000 square feet. Each kit is expandable. Each Gator 1000 Kit includes:
- Drip tubing: one 1000-foot roll
- Distribution tubing: one 50-foot roll
- Tees: eight perma-loc tees
- Two perma-loc elbows
- Two perma-loc couplings
- Regulator/screen assembly
- Installation instructions
We set up the Gator 1000 system to fit the vast majority of 2,000 square foot gardens, but we realize that there are many different garden setups out there. For that reason, we can work with each customer to make the Gator 1000 work for their large gardens, adding the additional fittings necessary to create an effective irrigation system.
The Gator 1000 utilizes the Irri-Gator irrigation system, which is known for its ability to provide evenly-distributed water flow to a garden of any size. This equal distribution is efficient while also keeping irrigation as affordable as possible. The technology used in the Gator 1000’s Irri-Gator drip system is unmatched in the industry.
Homeowners can attach the Gator 1000 to the household water system or to another water source, such as a pond or well. For ponds and streams, though, our professionals may have to set up filtration to rid the water source of algae and contaminants before it enters the garden.
Using the Irrigation Design Worksheet, residents can request the Gator 1000 irrigation system for their garden space. Once we’ve received a customer’s worksheet, we can work directly with that customer to make sure the irrigation system matches his or her specific needs.
