1″ Hose Clamp (18mm – 32mm Diameter)

Description

This 1″ Hose Clamp is a good general-purpose clamp.  Its band and housing are 200/300 series stainless steel.  The screw is 5/16” slotted hex head, heat treated carbon steel, double plated with zinc plus trivalent chromate for long lasting protection.  The 1″ Hose Clamp has a Diameter Range SAE of 11/16″ to 1-1/4″ (18mm to 32mm).  This clamp is also referred to as a worm drive hose clamp.

The diagram below demonstrates the 1″ Hose Clamp being used in our Gator 2000 Drip Irrigation Kit.  In this case, the 1″ Hose Clamp is tightened down over the 1″ poly tubing after the 1″ x 3/4″ adapter has been installed.  This will help to prevent the hose from separating from the insert adapter if too much pressure is applied to the drip irrigation system.  The screw on the clamp is tightened or loosened easily and requires only a flat head screwdriver.
